UENR – Collaborates on Erasmus+ Project to Tackle Agricultural and Environmental Challenges.

The event highlighted the active role of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in the EU-funded Erasmus+ AGRECOFARM Project, aimed at strengthening agroecology education, research and innovation in West Africa. The initiative focuses on the development of new Master’s programmes in Agroecology and Sustainable Agricultural Technologies, the establishment of dedicated laboratory facilities, and the creation of academic and policy-oriented tools to address major agricultural and environmental challenges.

Particular attention was given to climate change adaptation, soil degradation, environmental pollution, food security and the need to train skilled professionals capable of promoting sustainable and resilient agricultural systems.
